    hi Snadger,

I too like Fuschias ever since I was little mum always had Fuschias and Geraniums in the porch. Thought the fushchia flowers looked like ballarina's.

However, I am a very inexperienced gardener of any sort veg or flowers.

But I do remember Mr Thrower on Blue Peter.

              Hi PT
Welcome to the vine! You are doing exactly what I did last year - and this, to be fair - planting everything I faniced and then took it from there!
Last year was a fabulous success - and Im sure that this year will be the same!
Just give it a go! It wont do any harm will it?
Good luck - and keep everyone posted on your developments!
              Best wishes

~Welcome to the Vine PT, we've sort of been waiting for you ....
my other half, Bubblewrap, keeps asking 'what would percy thrower have said...'
Hope you find a comfy seat, but do be aware that once you're on, it's really hard to get away from the vine. Enjoy.

                    Hi Percy

                    Welcome to the vine

Be warned they are all mad here ( in the nicest way of course) but very friendly and helpful. There always seems to be someone out there who can help, even if you just need cheering up after a bit of bad luck. You will be hooked I can ensure you, still there are worse things you could be doing with your time than chatting with friendly like minded people who share the same interests as you.

Good luck for the season ahead, hope all goes well.

                    Tracy

thanks everyone for your kind post,

I hope I do get on with this alloment thing and is not a passing fad.

when dont today to spilt some more pallets for my rasied beds, was getting on really well then I broke the chisel I was using to sepearate the boards

was a littel fed up with that and came home should have done some digging.

oh well sure there will be more time for that soon

was a bit on the cold side the wind was very chilly

Breaking a chisel is a bit of bad luck PT, but perhaps being out in the cold wind is not a good idea either, it might have saved you from a kidney chill.

Remember, tomorrow IS another day and you ARE here to enjoy yourself. Keep breathing and have faith.

                          Hello Percy T,
Totally addicted already. Have managed to squeeze in a little housework. Then again I'm not inside much to make any mess, I'm doing enough of that outside Lauren
