iDelivered my daughter's forgotten flute to school
iGot stuck behind a truck, who couldn't get under a tiny railway bridge in a local village.
iGave him the directions needed to a half address, no road name, nor postcode...grrr
iKnew he wouldn't be able to find it, so after leaving the school, I hightailed it after him down the correct route, where lo and behold I found him parked in the middle of another rural road.
iTold him to follow me.
iDrove through town over many bridges, avoiding under bridges and lost him within 50 yards of the turning.
iWent up to the roundabout crossing the A38 and turned round quickly - he had gone.
iDrove to the original destination and informed them that they had a delivery driver in a mahoosive truck trying to find them on this new and stupid little estate. Government building - no advertising of the fact! Helps enormously - NOT!
iDrove round and around the routes he could have lost me by going onto them - no sign.
iFeel sorry - poor chap.
