Chook visitors!!!!

Was accosted by a pair of fine brown beauties on my way down to the shop this morning just deciding on whether to cross the road!
Very friendly girls, obviously well-handled, they followed me home with very little encouragement and are now singing chicken-style sea shanties in a big pet carrier.
Have given them a selection of seeds, apple, lettuce, a few brown bread crumbs and attached a pot of water to the inside of the door so they can't knock it over. Got 'em bedded on some dry leaves that I raked up the other day.
Can't help hoping that no-one claims them, I'm already planning on where to put the run.....

I definitely heard a couple of chorus's of "Freedom" by George Michael.
Sad to say, their rightful owner has been and claimed them. I'm missing them already!!
One other thing. How come wattles look so good on a chicken, but do absolutely NOTHING for me??
