  • No Laughing please

I was helping MiL shopping yesterday and as i was putting her wheelchair in boot of car my back clicked.
I am now layed up in bed in pain and cannot move properly.
Every time i go to the bathroom i look like the hunchback of notre dame .
    Cannot straighten back at all.
Been told not allowed on computer at all for a while coz it hurts to sit up.
(BH just gone out to get more painkillers.)

Have a good weekend folks and those with birthdays have fun

Get thee to a Chiro or Osteo, sharpish - could make all the difference to your recovery time. Get OH to get you some BioFreeze - it's magic for inflamation. Hope you're not in too much pain in the meantime.

Lifting stuff into and out of car boots is one of the biggest causes of back injuries! (Or so I was told on a kinetics course I attended)

                Get well soon Steve!

Like G4 said. Chiro or oesteo quick. The pills won't work! They will take away the pain and inflammation but not cure the underlying problem which appears to be the MOTHER IN LAW!

See - I am right sometimes! Just G**gle Bi*Freeze Gel, and you'll find the stuff. It's the opposite of D**p Heat, which, although offers relief, actually helps keep the area inflamed, which is counter-productive. Bi*Freeze can be bought in Gel form and also spray and roll-on - very useful. No I'm not on commission, unfortunately. Oh, and it's cheapest on my favourite on-line auction site!
