        All change!

Apparently the pacemaker is put on hold since they have done an angiagram and cant find what caused the heart attack. They say his arteries are clear!!! not heart disease! So now he has to have a MRI scan to try and find the cause!

        Somethings are never simple!

Possible damage to the heart, apart from the obvious from the recent 'cardiac event'.

Its all a bit weird really, sounds like even the specialists are bewildered!

will know a bit more tomorrow hopefully.

My Dad has just called me to say they have just finished fitting his defibrillator pacemaker

He will hopefully be out tomorrow, an entire month after his heart attack.

The Royal Brompton's preliminary findings from the MRI he had yesterday were that they can NOT find any reason as to why his heart stopped in the first place! they are guessing at a virus at the moment. They will produce their full findings in 2 - 3 weeks!

                    Weird!

Dad came in town today to watch 'The Git' march, all chuffed as he was once in the TA medical core! and marched the very same streets while Mum policed them!

Anyway, Dad had a call from America the other night asking if he didnt mind if they wrote a report on him and included is picture and health details!!

While in intensive care Dad was put on a special heart monitor that was from these people in America. It basically saved his life and the people America are amazed that one he is alive and two he has made such an incredible recovery!

                            Go daddy...
