Admittedly I'm only into W2 of c25k so there is time for it to wear off, but somehow I think it won't.

It is addictive once you are into it. At one time I was running 5 miles morning and night and always game for more. A pulled muscle cured the addiction

Can I say always run a circular route as running somewhere, turning round and running back the same way is sole destroyin ( geddit ! )

See, I never found it addictive! I've done 2 10k runs this year (with associated training runs 4 or 5 times a week) and each run/training session has been awful. I never get the endorphin rush at the end of of it, like I do with other exercise....

Don't get running at all, just find it miserable and it doesn't help that everybody I know that runs alot has either dodgy knees or ankles from the high impact even with wearing proper shoes. Give me cycling, hiking or a bit of a boogie every day over running

Love the idea of running, just getting some trainers on and then you're off. I'm not built for running, but cycling just takes faff to get ready.

Used to run and cycle quite a lot. Now when I spot someone running on an evening I always think to myself "Get a job". Wrong I know, but my jobs so physical I haven't got the energy to run when I finish work!
Not knocking runners though, and well done you Piskie, but I just wonder what proportion of evening runners do hard physical jobs throughout the day?

A very large proportion of consultants and junior doctors at work cycle and/or run to work and back. Suppose it's not a physically orientated workload they have, but it's very tiring.
