Is there something that you have always wanted to do but never got around to/ had the courage to do so far?

I know it's a small thing but I would love to learn to salsa dance. Don't know anyone else who would be interested in joining me in beginer's classes and as OH works nights and I work days I would find it difficult to find a class at a time when I had childcare and transport to get me there. Can I think of any other excuses?

Would love to take this up, once I've got my chickens sorted must take the bull by the horns and investigate.

Go do it! Life is too short to put off things you want to do.

Hi Sue, you will have a local bee keeping association who will be delighted to help. They are always looking for "younger" members.
I would like like to learn something about a non romance language - just for the intellectual challenge.
You're right Shirl, shouldn't put it off. Will check BBC language site tomorrow.
Any Mandarin, Japanese, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic speakers on the Vine want to help me ?

Hey Alice, Surely any language spoken in a strong Glaswegian accent is non romantic
www.bbc.co.uk/learnwelsh will help you with the "Language of Heaven" but then that is pure romance

Hey Grandpadragonz, I don't know anyone who speaks in a strong Glaswegian accent so whether it would be romantic or not I don't know. I do have some frogs at the bottom of the garden and they swear they speak the language of heaven.

I too would like to learn beekeeping but my nearest association meeting is quite a long way away. I've been trying to learn fiddle too, as a good friend of mine who was a fantastic fiddle and pipe player sadly died this year, and I wanted to learn fiddle to be able to play some of his fav tunes.

Serenity - I Salsa! I know it sounds weird doesn't it. There are tons of clubs in Hull.

With the right teacher it is really good fun. My only advice is choose a venue with good ventilation and/or a good bar. In the Summer it gets really hot.
