  • Jayes Fluid

As an older gardener I have allways used Jayes fluid on my roses in spring and after the first frost of the year. It clearly stated this on the tin buit for the last tow years or so they have ommitted this information and the old tin is no longer readable can anyone tell me the dialution rate that i should use or if i should not use it any more it killed the blackspot and the rust and i did not then have to use a fungerside or rose spray thoughout the year. which was a cheap way of keeping my roses nice

    any help gratefully received

Yer my mates dad used to do that.......

    Winter Care
It is a good idea in November-December when all the leaves have fallen from the plants to clear the ground and give the soil a good drenching with ***** Fluid or Armillatox. This disinfects the ground and leaves no harmful residue. Dilute your disinfectant according to the instructions with ***** Fluid (1fl oz to 4 pts water) with Armillatox (1fl oz to 1 gallon).

The information on the tin has been omitted because the product is no longer approved for that purpose.

It costs a lot to have a product approved for certain uses on plants. Thats why Armillatox and ***** are marketed purely for cleaning now.
