Thanks to you all, it has been lovely weather and I love the way my birthday is almost always in half term . Son No2 and I went to the lottie, I started the winter digging(and found a cluster of 6 wire worms, who were dispatched with murderous glee) while he dug the bean trench for next year. We ate chocolate and planted a couple more asparagus to complete my bed of nine crowns.
I'm trying to forget the visit to the vet with Son no1's cat, who needs 5 teeth out :eek, and as he has no money, I'm totally not remembering the bill of £320 facing us either.I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
