Yes, the leaf miner moth is not good news.
We first noticed brown leaves in summer on both our trees 3 years ago, this year 3/4 of the leaves were infected/brown and their leaves were already dropping by the end of July
We hope that burning as many leaves as possible this year will reduce the moth/pupae numbers enough for the leaves to hang on longer next year. There is no other method of control.
