damn, I have no recent ones to show off, I reckon beardy wins for sheer painfullness though

right..so first the burn, then the cut, you're missing a broken something or a massive bruise of some kind.
A burn!? Are you forecasting? I have a big bruise on my shoulder.

T'was. I was helping out in the staff kitchen after a colleagues surprise 65th birthday lunch. The kitchen is in a new unit we acquired, and all the equipment is new - including knives. One of them had the cable tie thing still round the handle, so I used one knife to remove it, and it slipped as I cut through it and my finger ran along the brand new blade.

    Silly boy!

Think you already got the "hat trick" Wayne, did you not graze your elbow t'other day ?

              Graze,Bruise & Cut

TBH I was too busy admonishing my own stupidity to notice any pain & as the saw blade was warm it cauterized itself,so very little blood.
New knives a sometimes a little too keen, hope the wound is not too deep & that you remember to catch Bean with the other hand for a while

Ah yes, but bruise & graze happened in one incident.

I'd say the saw blade out-trumps my clean cut any day. Mine didn't actually hurt, but that saw blade must've blummin urt.

Best you stay behind closed doors and don't move till it all passes...then you'll be fine.

No, missed the nail by about 2mm. Have tapped it a few times and it's not too painful. However, I forgot myself last night and gripped the doorkey as usual. That smarted.

Hurty fairy visited me yesterday( and our goose the day before)

I was drying the dishes from the drainer yesterday evening and managed to stab myself with the fork prongs ( nope- NOT garden fork)
...Deep enough into my forearm to have to physically pull the spikes out as it was dangling from my flesh!!!
Still hurty hurts - cos it's just where I rest my forearm on the desk to type!
At least it isn't bad enough for a hospital visit!

                            * I'm just a wimp when it comes to 'me' pain.
