Don't have copies but - Champion the Wonder Horse was by Frankie Laine (and it was owned by Gene Autry, another Roy Rogers type singing cowboy) and if it's the band version of Little Brown Jug, I think it was Glenn Miller. Alternative version from way back was the extremely left-wing Weavers (Pete Seeger, Lee Hayes et al).

I must confess, it was the Bay City Rollers - Bye Bye Baby. My friend and I must have been fans, I think we even had the chopped off tartan trousers

My mum made my trousers using some horrible coloured bright blue and green tartan - I wanted red like everyone else!
