Don't subscribe to any mags anymore as I tend to get fed up with them after a while - repeatition and all that. Do get various ones with membership though eg CTC, NT and a wildlife one. Buy the odd mag if I'm going away but that's about it and it'll tend to be garden or cookery related. Am currently trying to go through about 300 old mags to tear out anything I want before recyling. Thought I used to spend a lot until I looked at how many some of you get

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

          At the moment it's just:

          Gardener's World
          New Scientist
          Psychology Today
          Radio Times

but the littl'un has been agitating for a Farmers Weekly sub.

Apart from the RT we tend to keep them forever. I have New Scientists and Psychology Todays that are over 30 years old (weird when you catch your husband reading them at the breakfast table...)
The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

Boxes worth of a little bit of this and little bit of that...saved for years for a few useful pages in each that I *intended to cut out and scrapbook...all now neatly in bin bags awaiting to be recycled

*intended for so long that I realistically know it's never going to happen.

GYO is my only active subscription (though being considered). "Beer" and "What's Brewing" I acquire via my CAMRA membership - but they rarely get read.

Other than that - not much else apart from the occasional mountain biking magazine during the summer months.

Oh, I also get Camping & Caravanning now we're CCA members...

I only get the GYO mag.

I used to get 'Focus'- a scientific mag.

I've got back copies going back years!

Now I tend to flick through anything which is passed on to my from the expats locally.
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

                    Location....Normandy France

                      Private Eye
                      The Fortean Times
                      Mollie Makes

I love mags but I try to be strong about the 'repetitive' ones (gardening, food etc) especially as I'm not very good at recycling/charity shopping them (well, there might be something in that 10 year old History Today that I *really* need to know :0).
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
