After a long week at work, Friday night means PJs, a bottle of wine, a throw out, easy viewing on the telly box of stuff we've recorded, clean sheets and a blissful lay in on Saturday mornings. In my youth it was finish work, get home, get changed, meet mates, boogie and drink until 2.00 a.m in a nightclub, find a party until about 4.00 a.m., walk home and fall into bed about 5.00 a.m., and we'd do it all again on the Saturday. Wouldn't want to go back to that again!

Last time I went to a nightclub, I realised at about midnight that I'd really rather be home with a nice cup of tea and my choice of music- so I left

I've never worked a regular mon-fri week though, and I ain't working at all due to a bad back at the moment.

        Eeh, I feel old.

Monsieur P takes me out for an airing about once a year - usually for the Bastille day fireworks

If I go out it takes me half the week to get over it - I'm definitely getting too old to go out. I spent my friday night sanding walls down, painting, re-sanding, painting and plastering. joy.
