When i was at the lotty today I noticed that something had changed. It seemed to me that the earth had moved, seemed further away - had to bend further. Have any of you noticed this?

Certainly have! Someone on another thread suggested testing the soil by 'taking yer kecks off and sitting on it' - I'd never get back up!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

It's not the going down that's the problem, it's the getting back up again!
I can still touch my toes, but lately all my joints have been aching and my knees have given out. Doc is checking me out for thyroid after Easter, but I think its the statins they've had me on for the last two years.

Me too, had a busy day yesterday and now I ache all over. As for the eyesight, I know mine is bad and I have to wear glasses for reading etc, but space sowing small seed is now really difficult and I hate it. The joys of getting older !!!!!
