I lived there for a number of years, and it's all too true.

I had a friend that worked for Local Government, but in summer she worked waitressing cos it was better paid, but she still collected her salary from the office job, even though she never went from may to October. Greeks thought this was normal and acceptable behaviour *shakes head*

I watched it and TBO my first thought was is this staged, have they picked particular professions which would benefit hugely to distort the image.

I know that if Greece wanted to come here and make a documentary about sponging off the welfare state which they don't have to anywhere near the same degree as us they could. It would also paint us in very bad light.

If you take a look through a pair of binoculars you can only see some of the picture close up, you have to open your eyes to get a better more rounded vision.
