I love the cold days, when you wake up, and it's freezing out there, but you're lovely and warm under the covers.. and you don't need to get up.
I love the planning for next summer- however unrealistic I am, and however little everything went to plan this year, next year will definitely be awesome. I love the way everyone becomes 5 years old again on the first proper snowy day- watching men in business suits having a snowball fight restores my faith in humanity. I love the early signs of spring.
And I love the mulled cider.

I don't like the muggy wet days, when it's not worth going out, and everyone's getting frustrated inside, and giving each other colds. I don't like the days where you don't see sun at all, just a vague gloom.
I don't really like going to shops playing the same Christmas music, over and over, while you try and squeeze through the crowds, trying to buy a present for Uncle Bert, who won't like whatever you get him, and, if you're lucky, will give you back a single sock. But you have to buy him something, or the rest of the family will take it as a slight.
Okay, I'm exaggerating a little there.

I hate going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark, no time to do anything in daylight- I might be daft as a bat, but I dont like living like one

I hate winter, I work in it going up on roofs. It's not that funny when you got a northerly blowing up yer trouser leg at force 5 and it's minus 2, and i'm holding on to aluminium which doesn't even warm up in summer. Ugghhh, it makes me shiver just thinking about it.
