A bit more expensive, but they had better reviews. The strap over the toe keeps them on better perhaps?Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

I've got these ones Auntie Wintertrax
We had a lot of snow down south last year, and I felt really safe in these, even walking back from the pub

I want to get a pair of, "MIGHTY-ICE-GRIPS" for my friend. She HATES walking in the snow and ice and has considered tying a sack to her front, lying face-down and pushing herself along with her feet a la Penguins. Have advised her against this course of action as crossing the road between parked cars could prove hazardous and also, people might be tempted to use her as a sled and put their shopping on her.
Trouble is she has very small feet (just stumps on the ends of her legs, really) and all the grippers I've seen are too big.....When the Devil gives you Cowpats - make Satanic Compost!
