  • where can I get a zappa

    Hi,
in Italy we use this tool almost everyday to dig, and it really is invaluable. It is a bit like a spade but instead of the iron being horizontal to the handle it is vertical to it. So you can swing it up over your head with 2 hands and zap it down into the earth. It breaks up solid earth and allows you to flatten it. No idea what it is called here or even if they are avaible

They look good!! Do they actually break the soil up or take slices out if it?

Both if you wish. They really work you bash it into the soil it breaks the soil up up and you can then move it round if you wish. Or dig holes, level the ground etc much easier than a spade.
