I'd have to say Red followed by black and yellow and they'd have to be "Lions Wine Gums" but if there was a bag of "Midget Gems" on offer as well I go for them instead (nom nom)

        Green!

And apparently, according to hearsay; eating too many of them, and then having the misfortune to be pulled over with blues and two will register on the breathing machine.

        Not too sure!

Wine gums are often added to the dietary lunch bags for footballers..........so some part of them must be good for you?
Like Dick Dastardly, I have also seen wine gums with the names of wine in raised letters moulded into the sweet.

Midgy gems are much better anyway!

Orange But I also prefer the old Lion variation of sweets, like Sports Mixture. Although they've been taken over by the dreaded Kraft now, and the sweets are gradually getting softer to match wine gums

But since I've just rejoined the Fat Club, I won't be eating them for a while anyway.

As others have said, pass the midget gems, they last longer.

As a kid I used to go all out and buy a 1/2 pound of midget gems and eat them until they made me feel sick. Ah, those were the days, its probably 20 years since I've had one.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Got to be the black ones for me.
I can remember the ones with the names on them too, but cant remember who made them?

Black and red here too. My grandma (which is diabetic) used them for years and years as she always had a bad cold!
