My plot is getting smaller man on next plot has put up some wood as a fence on my plot I can't get to the back of my shed now. Can't speak to him about it, I don't know when he goes down there, no one sees him. The steward had left so I will be thinking about it until I see the steward again to get it sorted. How does everyone mark of there plots? the only way I know the end of my plot is by some metal posts that were holding a compost heap up when I took it over. The plot now goes in at least a foot either side of the markers how unearth I'm supposed to put a fence up I don't know. Looking straight down from the markers he has made beds on my plot. Sorry about the rant.

Don't it make you mad!
Who do you pay rent to PP? contact them about it. Our council are quite good about letting people know when they step out of line (as t'wer).
The other option is to move the fence yourself back onto his side and plant some brambles! There was another thread about similar issues, check it out here:

Hope you can work things out. Keep us posted.

Don't know what to say except I hope you feel better for sharing it with us!
Good luck with the steward I hope he/she is a strong character and can deal with the problem without starting an all out war.Digger-07

Thanks, I will be down there early in the morning telling the steward (he will sort it as he is always moaning about the state of my neighbours plot, he’s already been sent a warning letter) I will hand him a tape measure and ask him to tell me where my plot ends I have just bought 10mtr of fencing and have about the same on the plot so that’s a start. Been asking my OH to sort a fence for ages, I guess I will just have to bodge it myself and get him to put it back up when it falls down.Belgrave-allotments.co.uk

I'm lucky I guess, I only have a neighbour on one side. We have corrugated iron fences in between us. There are other plot holders who have boundary disputes though...why does everyone feel the need to be fenced in? I don't get it.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

Most of our site is pretty well marked out. Mainly corrugated iron about 2 or 3 feet high on the bit where my plot is, but some of the old boys who've been there years have proper high chain link boundaries - no question of any disputes on that bit!

It must be a relief PP to have it sorted out, our plots are suposed to be the same but after so many years they are all sorts of sizes especially where corner plots are concerned.
Our new plot is next to our first one and is there is some 6' difference in width between the two and that is a fair bit of land.
