You just trying to confuse me

I thought it was a version of Office i'd missed

I like office 2010 but BH (Better Half) doent like it she prefers 2003.
She says commands are too hidden.

Is it much different to MS Office BiP?
I've not used MS office for years now so I can't remember there being any differences, how about if you download Open office have a play with it then if you're happy with it keep your £9 for buying important stuff like seeds.

But for £9 its worth it.
I dont know many places that use OpenOffice and I'm sure its good but it seems the industry standard is MS Office.
All the jobs i've applied for look for a level of competency in Office.
          Just my opinion.

Open Office is being replaced by Libre Office. The only difference I know of is that you use the Format menu to set page sizes, margins orientation rather than the Page menu in MS Office. It has a much bigger user base in Latin America and Asia than in Europe. Some Scandinavian countries were reported to be moving to it, but I don't know if that is the case.

Recently 'stepped up' from 2003 to 2010 - I hate it .... with a passion! NOTHING is where it should be. I know it will take a while to get used to it and I have to get used to it, but - well I am sure the Mods would censor what I really feel like saying.

I have 2010, it is better than 2007, for sure.

I've also used Open Office, unsuccessfully, twice. It might open Word documents, but it doesn't display any of the changes or comments in the Review bit, so when I get my marked essays back, I can't read the tutor comments or see the changes made. So, pretty useless for what I want it for.

What if someone has tried it, and doesn't actually like it Ms. Four?

I've recently loaded Office 2010 and like it better than 2007. It's a bit more intuitive and there are extra features in Powerpoint that I find really useful. Which reminds me, I sat here nearly an hour ago to WORK on that presentation...
