Gardeners Rest #6

Scarey was sat astride her 5 bar gate gazing down into the valley where, nestled in the tiny hamlet,she could see the smoke gently rising from one of the chimneys of the Gardeners Rest.
Applying yet another coat of lippy and picking up her heavy basket she called "Come on boys" to her dogs and set off at a fair old crack down towards the Village Green where Cardiffsteve could be seen hanging yet another set of Xmas lights in the old oak tree outside the Gardeners Rest......

...when up jumps the village naughty boy with a beard, better known as Bearded Boy. He wanted Cardiff Steve to make rude shapes with his Christmas lights but the Good Fairy Christmas, Nicos looked down from above and said "No, I will have none of that here"! With a flourish she wiggled her wand and...

fell from the top of the tree where she had been.....

[Glutton4...]

... acting as lookout, in the vain hope that the Pompiers would appear sometime soon ...

...with their super soaker hose, but...

*** but with a hose that size it would surley water down the pinot grigio that had not been spilled despite the faal from the tree......

...Nicos preferred to savour every last drop, as she rubbed the glass up and down her neck. Her thoughts wandered back to the boys and their hose...

"Darn!!!" she cried- "we've not ordered the Xmas turkeys for the party...who's in charge of the food this year????"

[Glutton4...]

"That'll be Binners!" shouted Glutton from under a Land Rover.

"Her Courgette CAAAAAKE is fab!

The thought of courgettes made Nicos weak at the knees. She was yearning for a hot steaming... Ratatouille
As she looked down upon Gardeners Rest she could see Aberdeen Plotter tending his onions. He had the finest alliums in the land. Nicos was deeply envious and she vowed to...

help him collect wood for his wood burner....and....

....powered Good Fairy Nicos' flying ability and she had to chant it under her breath at all times while in the air, which made flying a bit of a breathless business. So landing with a bit of a thump, and feeling a bit like Piskieinboots must have felt after her 5k run, she...
