I need to get a new CSCS card and re do my health and safety test, thats £50! Also have to CS30/31 chainsaw cert that is £715!!!!!!!!!!! How does anyone expect you to get on when things are so expensive it scandalous!

School CRB check is, I think, £60. Schools have a shortage of volunteers for doing things like hearing readers ...

Just had my public liability and tool insurance quote through the post. £915-49p think I may be doing a web search this year.
Assessments for Gas Safe registration next year and although that has gone down in price it will still be well plus of £1000.
Then folks wonder why we charge so much.

I wouldn't mind so much if there was any point, I've had a CSCS card since they came out. Never been asked for it when I visit site (despite it supposedly being a requirement on half of them) and didn't think it proved anything anyway.
