  • Harrods allotment

Read in today's Sunday Times that Harrods are planning a rooftop allotment! Shoppers will be able to buy fresh veg from the store's very own plot (£££?).

Also they are offering an allotment design service!

Bet this makes a few other allotmenteers out there smile!

I'll say, JK - I've clearly missed out on a money making opportunity here!

Do you think that Harrods also offer out the services of a gardener to dig the plot once it's planned....and a chap to sow the seeds...and a service whereby you can pay a chap to come over and hoe the weeds off......

methinks that anyone who pays for the above has sort of missed the point about having an allotment!

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

It's the Di and Dodi thing BW, the only reason they'll be opening it is a surplus of horse shite from the owner!

I could do that! You have a silver trowel in one hand and a gin and tonic in the other and you tell the man where to dig.
Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
