He was the best thing since sliced bread for Newcastle United..............

I really like Steve Bruce, he always comes across as a really nice guy. Always gun for him to win when I watch MOTD, seems a shame Sunderland didn't want him any more. I mean, they're not even in the bottom three!
I missed this post - thanks Snadger - bringing up football again! he really did have to go - it was his team that fell apart last week, but O'Neil should be a class act - and we will not mention the result at ASDA* today
Because he's got a big fat head, he's got a big fat head, he's got a big fat head... well that's what we (LFC) sing to him every time we play the team he's managing..
I'm all for a bit of light hearted banter between football supporters. That banter makes for an excellent atmosphere at most games. I do feel really sorry for Steve Bruce though. His best players and goal scorers sold and not replaced yet he gets the chop when it goes pear shaped. Poor management is one thing. Getting your legs chopped off just above the ankles and then getting the chop to boot really takes the bisuit and indicates the blame should have been centred elsewhere.
As I said before - that was his team - he bought 8 of the players who started on Saturday, brought another through the academy, and only renewed the contract of the tenth when that player said he would play left back - and he didn't play him there - I am a season ticket holder and have seen my team win twice this year - as for losing the strikers - one was only on loan, and it seems that the other 2 did not move for money - read into that what you want!
Should have given Alan Shearer the managership.............
