My fave food is mash with smoked haddock .....if there isnt any in the freezer then any type of indian snack will do - bagjis, smosas (excuse the spelling!).

PS Dexter says any type of dog biscuit (bless! he's not allowed treats 'coz hes trying to lose a 1lb or too due to his arthritis!)

Just read all the posts from yesterday about cheese! Aw - that's the one thing I reall really miss being a vegan, and 'Cheesly' just doesn't fit the bill. Tastes like vomit (sorry, but it does) so I avoid it. Feeling hungry now, but am on a diet, so will just have to dream

When I was younger, I used to like Pot Noodle as a late night snack - how utterly disgusting that seems now!!

I've got a new one .... Xmas pudding and custard, yum. Also good for lunch, and for breakfast!

Ditto, leftover home-made cheesecake... Mmmmmm. The trick is always to make far too much, so there's plenty leftover!

Left-over ANYTHING is gorgeous. The flavours mellow somehow. I've got the knack of too much shepherds' pie and too much fish pie. We're having them again tonight!
And left-over curry or chinese is sublime.

I don't care what it is, as long as it has Marmite spread on it. Cheese on toast witha layer of Marmite under it is especially good.

Ooohhh, now I'm stuck in work and salivating for cheese on toast, cheese on crumptes, cheese on hovis biscuits .... preferably with a good strong flavoured port .... and I agree that cornflakes are a supper meal not breakfast!!

Staffordshire oatcakes (like pancake kinda things), grilled so they're warm, then Marmite spread on them and rolled up. Yummeh!

agree with the cheese, but has to be chocolate digestives and a large glass of milk.

                          Best suppers:
1 Toast/butter + just about anything (jam, marmalade, triangle cheese, bovril, honey etc etc but NOT peanut butter)
                          2 Toasted crumpets - ditto
3 Digestive biscuits with butter and cheese
4 Pork pie, bread and butter, celery sticks
