    The Advent calendar Trick -

in the days my eldest two were small, (now 20 & 24) they used to get a choccie one....but oddly there were never any chocolate figures behind any of the doors......strange that!

Walking home from school with a pair of underpants in my pocket as my 6 year old found them in his shoe when he was in the playground! Im now fretting that he has gone to school commando!

My friend's daughter regularly used to hide her pants under the sofa cushions in a morning and went to school commando all the time. She wore trousers.
At swimming one day when I helped out, they were all getting dressed and she couldn't find her pants. I turned the changing room upside down and ended up lending her my daughter's spare swimming costume as pants instead. I told my friend and apologised that we had been unable to find them when my daughter duly declared that **** never wore pants! I don't know who was more shocked, me or the mother!
A full scale search revealed pair after pair under the seat cushions. It was so funny to see my friend's reaction that she was horrified not only at her daughter's penchant for smooth seams but also at how long it must have been since she turned her sofa over to clean it
Oh and this only ever happened on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, when Mummy left early for work and Daddy was in charge! Guess who was in the dog house?

          Awww...melts your heart, dunnit!

When my sister was tiny, her excuse for anything naughty that happened was, "Sandy dun it!"
          Sandy was the family cat!

Ever thought of buying a cheap laptop...Wash my mouth out I know!

The police helicopter was beaming it's torchlight and swooping low over our house two nights ago. My daughter still believes "wobbers and munsters" are in her room and she's twelve. Steel yourself for ten more years at least!

The reason I switched to apple was because through uni I went through 7 laptops..(either went too slow, weren't powerful enough, were too cheap and just broke etc) I also needed some unix access too, for a business I was running at the time - OS X fitted the bill perfectly

You don't have to explain to me - we have worshipped Uncle Stevie's Co. for some time now. We are purchasing an MBP for son to run Minecraft...don't ask! He is studying computing/electronics and this will help his gaming development projects apparently.

Same here - They used my tumble dryer door to use as a step up onto the worktop. Snapped it clean off! They stuck blue tack on the seat belt clips, which stopped them from locking in - so my car failed the MOT! And then they jammed twigs in the car door locks trying to be Spys!

I love the twigs in locks, pretending to be spies.

...you get the last of the washing done only to find a big pile of their's under chairs in their rooms! Ho hum...washer on again!

it goes all quiet and you know they are up to something

Do you leave them alone or go and investigate or wait until the OH
gets home and discovers the lovely piece of art work stuck to the bedroom wall
                            made from sanitary towels

OMG - this reminds me of when I found a lovely half knot in blue wax crayon on my old pine kitchen door. As they are made from staves and there was a half knot in the wood, a child of mine decided to colour in the missing half. I knew it was my daughter as her attention to detail was and still is that much greater!
                              Sanitary towels...classic...love it
