  • Connection Problems

Anyone else particularily anyone using AOL as an ISP having problems getting on to and navigating around the vine? Started yesterday

  • #2
I use Talktalk as ISP, but for the last couple of days the Vine has been a bit silly. Very slow to load. This morning it wouldn't let me sign in, then it did, then it took ages to get new posts, then I clicked on the rant thread and the layout was all over the place. Seems OK now, though.

No problem with Vine now, but last week the whole internet was unobtainable for a few hours (BT)

We were with friends Sunday night and their connection dropped out (Virgin)

I'm presently on using Chrome on my new laptop and my other one I access via the aol software and probs with both although .this is working ok as I type(heck knows what will happen when I post this though). The problems you describe are as I have been experiencing too.

Mine has been so annoying over the last few days - using Chrome and AOL as my ISP - it keeps saying oops chrome cannot connect to the vine. Posting is difficult too.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Must be an issue with AOL I think although I did phone support this morning. All they did was check router settings. It's not called AOhell for nothing.

Have you tried clearing your browsing data, I find emptying the cache memory and deleting cookies from time to time helps slow loading or none loading websites to load up correctly, its worth giving a try.

I think it might be the Vine, even when I'm logged in it has chucked me off a couple of times this morning when I've tried to refresh new posts, saying it cannot connect to the site

Yups, first thing I did. I'm coming round to thinking it may be the GYO side is wrong though. I can navigate ok to other sites
