Hahaha I now have 2 rolling pins. Yep, one with dents for DIY and one smooth finish for rolling icing/pastry etc.

One of my wooden spoons has a handle with the perfect diameter for helping sloes through the funnel when I put them into a demi-john.

When I grew up I don't think we had a single screwdriver in the house. We used the tips of eating knives!

However I think the most unusual is kitty related. I use a tub that previously held 5Kg of molecular biology grade sodium chloride. It has a screw top ratcheted lid and therefore seals pretty tight. As such, it's perfect for putting soiled litter in - I 'muck out' twice a day and about once a week (in winter) I lose it under a muck heap at the field.

I use a smaller tub of the same design as a vermin proof bird food holder!
