We also call them cobs to me a roll is a finger roll that you make hotdogs with, but saying that when I mention on here I'm baking my bread I call them rolls so I don't confuse folks.

Am a brummie born and bred, and have still to get a brummie brogue. The only time it peeks in, is the word "bowling."

Mancunian is lovely. As is anything from t'dales. But what really gets me are the sounds of Dublin. And anything that is bollywood via Dublin is amazing!

Yay! Give it wave from me - I was born near the library and then lived in Bower Lane, Quarry Bank when first married - small world, eh! Don't get up there much nowadays, and when I do they say I sound Welsh. (Don't think so)

People tell me I'm quite good at doing accents, from Ulster to New Zealand. I try them out in other parts of the country/world sometimes....gonna get thumped one day!!

Love a bit of geordie though. One of the new girls at work and myself immediately struck up a bit of rapport when she did an impression of Cheryl Cole and I replied in my best geordie, and it went from there. Oh how we laughed, the rest of the office think we're very odd...probably rightly so......

I have no problem with accents normally. I love to hear the Geordies and the Welsh in full flow. It makes me grind my teeth though to hear that woman who does the BBC weather forecast talk about Englind and Scotlind.

I find it quite sad how local dialects and accents are rapidly dying in this country, obviosly a result of increased travel and communication. Its becoming increasingly rare to find anyone with a real Somerset accent anymore, the way my Grandparents used to talk-Even I used to find it quite difficult to follow when they were in full flow!

TV, Video, wider ethnic backgrounds, Americanised defaults, its an 'S' not a 'Z'!!, they all diminish a language or a dialect.

Since moving to South Wales from Mid, my welshness has got stronger, I does love it.

Its definitely a Llanelli Accent for me, on men it has a habit of making them sound thick, even when they aren't. To get that accent in your mind think of Stacey off Gavin & Stacey, tidy like.
