Peri Gilpin, the lady who played Roz in Frazier, has the most amazingly sexy voice when she is talking out of character. Not only that, what a looker!!! Phwaaaaw

I will always fall slightly weak at the knees at an irish accent. We kind of considered moving to Dublin so our son could get one and have girls falling at his feet in his teenage years....

... seriously though, I've got the "Kylie" accent- Australian with too many years of living in London so that my parents think I have an English accent, but the English think I'm from New Zealand.

Sad thing is that I can hardly do a broad country Queensland accent any more without it sounding incredibly fake....

My grandad has a strong devonshire accent. Last time I spoke to Ian he didnt have a strong accent though. It seems alot milder than I remember when I used to come back when I was a kid and all I remember are the oohs and aarghs lol. Some parts out of the way are still very strong.

My husbands family are from kent/london way and I hate to say it but they sound thick with the "I dont got no bread" or whatever. Its not so much an accent but a dialect. However his Mum is one of these people that picks some accents up and she now has a cockney, australian and american accent. Very odd to listen to! On the whole though I do agree that accents have mellowed an awful lot.
