  • Help-Jamie!

Right,no idea if this is the right place to post here so apologies if not but i need help! Years ago there was a dvd given away free with one of the department stores of jamie oliver with some christmas recipes. I need to get a copy (lost in move) as it has some of my favourite recipes on it,including a great way to carve the turkey-trouble is ,no-one seems to remmeber it or know exactly what it was callled! I've searched around but with no joy. I'm hoping that someone on here may remember it and give me an idea of it's proper title or where i could look
PS its not the one with the recipe cards but I think it was about that time.
Help please-or am I just going mad!!!???
    many thanks

I'll just nip downstairs Raine, because I think I may have got the DVD you're talking about. I saw it on offer a couple of years ago in Home Bargains for about 50p and so bought 4 copies, one each for my daughter and daughters in law and one for myself. Hang on ...............

Just looked Raine and sorry, it's the one with the recipe cards called "Jamie's Christmas". He's looking very young on the cover and is wearing a jumper with Jamie's Christmas enblazoned across the front. You're still welcome to it if it's of any use.

All the chefs seem to be cutting turkeys like that now, never really found a problem with carving them properly so long as the knife is sharp so prefer to keep mine in one piece.

Can't help with the DVD as find Jamie (particularly in his early days) to be very annoying but is there a forum on the C4 site you could try, I've asked stuff on the River Cottage one in the past and got a lot of help.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
