My Lego building days are now over but I have my 5am, 6am, starts to look back on. We had a very late night so a late morning here. Dogs have shredded their wrappings already. Kids have opened stockings (had main presents early - money meant own purchases). Just me and Mr VVG to open our's over cooked brunch.
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays (whichever you celebrate)!

      Nadolig Llawen - Happy Christmas

Looking for a bit of sympathy really. Went out to unfleece the tunnel only to find two mole hills!! The blinking thing had come in under the door and across and up into the beds, right under the carrots. Too upset to speak - not too upset to set the traps. I'll be burrying some slates in the doorways as soon as I can.

Briliant news though is root trainers (with lids) and a max/min thermometer in the pile under the tree.

Off for a bit of light messing around in the tunnel now as too wet to ride. So tempted to try sowing something!

      Have a great day.

PS. I just don't have enough time to say hello to everyone as they join so please take this as a delighted to see you here!

Have a very Merry Whatever today. Have opened Secret Santa's present - how well He knows my weaknesses (well, the ones I admit to in public!). A seed tin containing 6 varieties of beans, most of which I have never heard of, and a notebook! I'm really excited at the thought of growing these!
Santa - you've made my day!! Thank you and a very big XXX (hope you're not a girlie!!!).
I've had my granola and yoghurt, topped with kiwi fruit from the garden, and the dogs are fussing around for their walk. Another cup of coffee and then I'll go...as long as it stays dry.

Sorry to hear about the moles. You don't need Christmas visitors like them. Send them on their way, rejoicing!!

            Merry Kismet!

Staggered get ups this morning. Wrapped Ma and pop's pressies before having breakie. Middle sister is in charge of dinner. Turkey went in at gas mark 5. Grandad mike came around, so that he, Ma and pops could unwrap pressies. Pops and grandad mike have had their traditional mince pies with a mug of Indo Irish Tea; Grandid mike has now departed for his veggie Bollywood kismet dinner. We'll save him a turkey dinner! Unwrapped the various chocs and biccies that the little darlings at school gave me.

              Merry Christmas everyone.

The guys got me mainly knitting related presents this year since I can't do much gardening while in Holland.

Pembrokeshire is wet, wild and windy today so a quiet day with movies /radio / food is in order
              Happy Gardening,

It's a gloriously warm bright day here in Australia.

                  I mean Derbyshire.

What IS going on with the weather?

Its wild and windy in Cardiff and I imagine the West Wales rain will arrive here in the next couple of hours. I always like to have something to look forward to!
