There is no way on hell I'm going to line Murdoch's pockets so it's freeview for me as well Haze. What's your excuse? Is it the thrift you have mentioned or just sheer thought of the time spent flicking throgh gazillions of channels just to find precidely nowt?

I have a TV (under protest), with the old traditional channels. OK I may miss a few programmes but I don't have to pay extortionate fees (apart from the licence fee - but that's a whole new thread). Plus, when I stay at my friend's to dog sit I flip through the SKY and other progs and guess what - looks like loads of programmes but most of them are repeated over and over and over again. So you're really not getting much for your money, are you?

Answer from a sky subscriber - no you aren't!

His nibs can't be without his footie so I tacked on the disney channels for the kids (£5/month) and make the most of his addiction!

Not allowed to record at that time of the evening, interfers with his CSI so I won't get to see it anyway!
The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!

I have freeview but most of the programmes on there are repeated through the day and evening. Sad about missing a lottie prog but would rather be outside doing some gardening in the evening sunshine

                Blessings all
