Some of the japanese cherries bloom all winter. They are often the first in flower - useful precursor to the sloes which are next!Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?Comment

There were daffs in flower at Dunham Massey when we were there yesterday.

My geraniums, wallflowers and roses are still flowering. Not quite a sign of spring to come as they haven't stopped for winter yet!Comment

The cherry opposite us is in full bloom, I have never seen it bloom this early before. All of the roses round here are starting to bud and some open. Daff tips are poking through. Does seem very early.http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jamiesjourney
