Some of the japanese cherries bloom all winter. They are often the first in flower - useful precursor to the sloes which are next!

There were daffs in flower at Dunham Massey when we were there yesterday.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My geraniums, wallflowers and roses are still flowering. Not quite a sign of spring to come as they haven't stopped for winter yet!

The only signs of Spring here today are a March wind and April showers!

The cherry opposite us is in full bloom, I have never seen it bloom this early before. All of the roses round here are starting to bud and some open. Daff tips are poking through. Does seem very early.

Lots of bulbs showing in the garden and the birds were singing like mad when I was out there today.

Cherry tree in full bloom in South Shields and gorse in flower. Looks odd!

The spring bulbs that I planted in October are sprouting. Makes me smiled every time I take a walk down there.

Crocuses are through, and my comfrey is too: that's at least 3 weeks early
