Minor Rant Thread part 5

Being TOLD that "a friend" (of His, not mine) is going to visit me, then not understanding why I'm rattled. I might have wanted a book in the bath, now I have to stay dressed and pretend to be sociable.

coming home to find hubby has fixed the fence...up rooted my recently planted apple tree and left it lying on the path. then found he had discarded 15 strawberry plants...." I had to dig up all that area" was his defence

When you put in a request for copies of part of your medical records over a month ago, pay £50 and the surgery manager sits on her ample bottom and does nothing about it. So you chase them up and they say everything will be ready in time for you to send it off with your form for (not on) March 14th and last Friday it wasn't read, and today it is still not ready and they are now saying Monday. Maybe I should offer to do the photocopying myself? It'll probably be a ten minute job on the fantabulous machine they've got!!

This now leaves you at the mercy of Royal Mail before your form & evidence is late and ATOS refuse to look at it.......

Had 3 letters in post today all from different parts of the Department of work and pension.

First was a letter saying I will soon receive a form from ATOS for my ESA benefit.

Second was the form from ATOS with a letter saying that if I dont complete form by 6th april they will stop my benefit but my benefit will stop at end of april anyway.

Third letter was saying that my benefit will increase from the 13th april.

I dont think that these government departments have a clue what is going on or who is entiltled to what.

I hope that my job gets ratified soon by newport council and I can tell DWP & ATOS to stick their form where the sun dont shine. (and i dont mean manchester or wales)

Sorry, rant required.....
I'm in my lorry doing a delivery, half blocking the road. When I have finished I indicate that I wish to move out and on. Why do cars insist on trying to squeeze past me instead of letting me move on thereby not blocking the road ?

No, I am not 'so lucky to have such fabulous charity shops when they're rubbish in [insert location of moaner]'. Mine are no different to any other town's, I just have a good eye for a bargain, shop regularly and try to think creatively so that the kids and I can have some fripperies and fun (as well as essentials!) without having to constantly ask family and friends for money.

I caught the sun while in the garden today. My face is red and burning Later in the year I remember sun cream, but always forget how powerful it can be this time of the year.

People who will not phone me direct to make arrangments to collect plants, but go in a triangle via my daughter, and then don't turn up anyway
