  • More an 'Oh bother' than a real rant.
Coming on here, finding a whole new thread I'd like to chip in with, expecially as it's got a bit 'warm' and interesting... and some Mod has closed it before I heard about it! (yes, I know you have to, but it has happened a few times lately, so it's irritating).

    • Just been out with my dad for lunch and driving along a main road and the car in front pulls to the kerb.
The young guys in the car call over some teenagers and "shoot" them with plastic dart guns.
As i went to pass the car it suddenly pulled off, nearly crashed into me and raced down the road.
I caught the car up and gave the idiots inside a piece of my mind, I really wanted to thump them.
The driver who looked no more than 17 had a plastic gun on his lap, he couldnt have been concentrating on his driving.
I should have taken the registration and reported it to the police not just for dangerous driving but for shooting people.

      • CS plastic guns or not that is a firearms offence punishable by imprisonment and the dozy bu***ers would deserve it to.

          • Don't get me started on dog poo. The pavements in the village are generally clean. People do tend to pick up after their dogs if they defacate in the streets. It's a different story if you take one of the footpaths over the farmers fields though. Just because it's not on a paved area people seem to think there's no need to pick it up. It really is disgusting.

Andi would be with you on this one...part of his job is to strim footpaths, apparently it's not very nice when your strimmer hits a bag

We had several dogs poisoned round here last year, never caught who did it, but the poison was put down in 2 fields which people regularly walked their dogs through, but rarely picked up after them. It can make livestock seriously ill, ruin silage, and ultimately end up in our food chain - why would anyone not pick it up?!
