1st rant ...............arrogant pr**k has parked there again (on t'other side of road today ) ...but I did see a note from the security officer attached under his wipers.......

2nd rant .............at myself for wasting a day doing practially b@gger all

Rant 1....People who love to complain, and are perfectly able to help fix it but can't be bothered.
Why in a school community of 500 families are there only 4 people who are willing to spend half an hour shifting ice so the kids can play safely, and yet lots who are happy to moan about the ice?
rant 2, connected to rant 1 - my muscles...that are aching after a day shifting ice...almost single handed!!!

I don't actually like it at all mudpies.
I'm not doing a holier than thou speach now, I'm on the PTA because I want to be and I actually enjoy t....some bloody how, at the last AGM, everyone but me was on the ball and volunteered for posts...wasn't until the chair post came up and I was the last one standing......
point is. We had an Xmas bazaar(1st ever). Turn out was great. A mum that had a stall there has now booked one for the Spring Fayre.....has also sent a snotty message on Facebook page asking how we intend on advertising as the turnout for the Christmas one was so poor....I was a jolly good girl and refrained from saying that similar stalls to her did well but they weren't selling tat....instead, I offered for her to join the PTA......cou[le of weeks on and guess what?

I most certainly wasn't chatting, just one rant reminded me of mine.

Mudpies, my rant basically is, she has so much time to moan, yet no time to give a hand. I put on a coffee morning and bookswap last week, invited her...did she come?

Bottom line is, I'm not on the PTA because it looks good. I want to do all I can to ensure my kiddies education is the best it can be and gets all the extras possible. Rather ashamedly, I also admit that it's a great distraction from real life...tomorrow morning, I could be sorting my bedroom or having coffee with a mate to talk PTA stuff.

If people have either not got the time nor inclination to get involved, that is absolutely fine...my issue is with those that have the time and inclination to moan but not to help.
