          • People who assume that because I (or anyone else) am emphatically anti-Tory/anti-right-wing/anti-capitalist, then I must be 'for' Labour and therefore they can 'win' the argument by attacking Labour. WRONG! The last time I looked, Labour's policies were only marginally to the left of Tories. The only truly left of centre 'mainstream' party is the Green party, so I suggest anyone wanting to argue politics with me reads their manifesto, and have a read of some Marx. Then we'll have a discussion which isn't endlessly diverted into 'Well, Labour did this/that/the other'

              • Wasted the whole day waiting for some woman to collect her Ebay purchase. She didn't even have the courtesy to phone and say she couldn't make it. She now wants to collect tomorrow evening.

                • Calling the dentist after a weekend of shocking pain [I had a root canal treatment booked for next week but couldn't cope til then] and booking to have an extraction [yes, I'd seen the xray and it was bad], turning up when booked to be told that they can't do an extraction even though I'd booked it in because the dentist didn't have time to do it. Eh? So my dash from Coventry was wasted then?
Anyway - Zaz gets upset and 20 mins later, tooth is removed.

How can they not have time to do an extraction [15 mins from injection to removal] but have time to redrill and poke about which is what she suggested they do [45 mins from injection to finish]???....I know the clocks went forward but that's ridiculous. Turns out they would have had to remove it anyway as it was 'well cracked'. Ouch.

Anyway - am now supping warm soup carefully with a well balanced spoon.

Well, that saved me typing out something similar!!! Summed up something I have been thinking about a little recently.

(Hope I don't get told off for 'chatting')

PS Hope your mouth feels better soon Zaz, I feel for you.

(Well if I was going to get done for chatting anyway I may as well make the most of it )

                      • Does it strike you as strange that the people who went to "dinner" with the camerons are a builder, an owner of a company that supplies heavy plant/diggers and an oil speculator?
So what are the recent ideas that have recently come up?
5% deposit on new build houses, privatisation/repair of the roads and fracking for oil!
Call me cynical if you like.
