I'm slightly colour blind so traffic lights are always fun! My rant - piggin weather .... It was hailstoning today !

Yea but you know that stop is at the top and green at the bottom and if theres a big arrow pointing left or right, means go!

And the condems are considering it...........

I'm repeating myself, but I don't care! Here we go again!

Doddery old bleeps, that drive at 40mph in a 60 limit in open countryside with at least a mile of visibility and no oncoming traffic. I catch them up, and yes, am very careful not to drive right on their bumper in case I frighten them, and they slow down to 30!!! Aaaaaaaarrrrrggghhh!

Throw away the ruddy keys and catch the darn Bus!

Drivers who completely ignore the 20mph speed limit....

A lot of our rural roads have been changed to 20mph (from 30, or 40). Nobody likes the change, it is causing more problems than it is solving; however, 20mph IS the speed limit now.

I am absolutely sick of drivers who decide that they don't want to do 20mph, so tailgate me (as I'm doing 20mph), then overtake me - usually on a blind bend, or hill at about 40mph, whilst gesturing, or screaming obscenities at me.

It's not my fault the speed limit has changed...

Actually, I'm considering emailing the local police - either start enforcing 20mph, or change it back to 30mph - I'm sick of being screamed at every morning by people who don't care about breaking the law...

nods in complete understanding - tailgating is a pet hate of mine, especially as I try to drive carefully and give the driver in front respectful distance?
I think it's the perception of the driver too? I had an olllllllllllllllld Golf - (Mark 3) which is a smashing little car - goes on forever etc but LOOKS like it wouldn't go particulary fast.( to some, while others know it as boy racers car lol)

While, overall I have to say I am usually surrounded by careful and considerate drivers, I still get arrogant business men on the way to work, from time to time, who flash lights at me, try to drive up my ars***s etc

Oh? you may think - perhaps she is driving rather over cautiously and slowly and a bit like that fella off of Gavin and Stacey when he's driving and the guy flashes him..errrrr no

This is usually up the motorway at 70+
I always move to near lane when I can etc
but sometimes I am prrrrrrrettty fast and there are still these people ( and it's not all men - few ladies with machismo problems out there once they sit in a car) who think it's their god-given right to be in front of you because they have a new car?

Usually I stubbornly refuse to budge ( if I am moving at a speed)
and they gesture etc and then cut round, undertaking on the inside...w ell excuse me but
undertaking on the inside?

It's usually worth it though when I see them about 200 yards ahead, now stuck in a traffic jam, after overtaking me and I think - SO - your little tantrum - worth it was it? LOL or when they watch me, a 25 year old car go whizzing past their BMW... lol

I drive a Honda Jazz - usually driven by old people, not 30-somethings!!

I got tailgated by a Ferrari the other day on the way home - single track country lanes, no room for overtaking, I couldn't even pull in anywhere... I was going as fast as I felt comfortable with... he was so close to me, I couldn't see his number plate.

Taking MiL for a planned clinic appt at hopital only to be told that the appt was cancelled and she should have had a letter with new date.

People tailgaiting me when I have Psycho Pony in the horse float. I drive steadily because the FW in the float is leaping about like a lunatic - I don't need you revving up behind him and making him worse. I also don't need peope driving up the middle of the road and forcing me off into the crumbly edge of the road when I've got a live (psyco) animal on board. Just found a new bumper sticker for the back of the float

Having happy and content kiddies that got up at 9:00 and played nicely together letting me sleep til 11:00!!! I still feel bleurgh!
