I'm not sure if they do use these shoe bags any more. Your post made me think of this idea though
morsbags sociable guerilla bagging
It might give you some ideasWhether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

Our school has the proper bag with a logo on but it's only just big enough for the shoes, so mine have a bought drawstring one instead. I know the only thing our school ask is that they don't use huge sports bags as there's not room on the pegs.the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

SS...have had a glimps of these when searching for bag ideas, thanks for the link, them dead easy, already done some out of a strong curtain, lined them with the curtain lining, with an oblong bottom, they look real swish, will do a few morse bags as well,
BIP..i think the logo might be a school purchase to sew on,well they were a while back lol, unless they gone all unnesesary and charge extra notes to have them ready printed bags
thanks DI,what sort of size are the drawstring ones,as buy is a very dirty word in our place, lolLast edited by lottie dolly; 22-01-2012, 05:43 PM.sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

They generally have specific logoed bags these days at primary, not at senior level. How about making washbags with names on or ballet bags/horse riding boot bags.Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better...Albert Einstein

Thankyou peeps for the replies,i have been having a fiddle around with fabric and your ideas ,as i have an O/L did 1 gift bag simply O/L down 1 side and sweep a corner and bottom, and edged the top, this i tried with new white sheeting with pink cotton in the O/L and stitched pink ribbon into the seam,so when it's filled gather and tie up,looks good, also done a small morse bag for the same purpose,THANKS to you i googled ,arn't they expensive,so will do a lot more,in diferent colour combinations, also might buy some fabric crayons,AND the morse bags themselfes are good, and hopefully will sell,as in fashion now, spread the word lol,am in a 1 woman factory,I LOVE IT,but i have to watch out it not take over
northepaul..thanks for that, will do a few shoe bags, pencil cases i did think about, but wondered if they be seen as to old fashioned,is nice to have info from the other side of things,so i presume then that parents arn't forced to bye the school bags then, interesting, mmm back to basic skills then and save some £££££ parents, sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

How about the bridal market? When I got married three years ago, my chief bridesmaid made "Diddy Bags" for herself and my second in command. They were simple drawstring bags in the same colour as their dresses and were big enough to hold lippy, some cash, mobile etc, but small enough to wear comfortably over one wrist and be pretty much hidden by their flowers.
