I'm pretty sure - if I find them, they will be in the last place I look. I'm willing to guarantee it.

I've checked the oven, the toilet cistern, the tea and coffee caddies, the shoe cupboard and the bottom drawer that must never be opened.

    Nothing.

    I have catalogues though...

Now I haven't tried looking for mine yet, I used to keep it in one of the kitchen cupboards, but its not there now. However the box 40cm x 30cm x 30cm, it shouldn't be that hard to find.

I'm guessing you have put it somewhere high up, to keep it out of the reach of Bean. Have you tried looking at the tops of your wardrobes or actually on top of them. If like me you have a garage, you could lose a day in there to start with, while all my seeds are in one place I stand a chance of finding them. However all of those packets from GYO, they are going to be a lot harder to find!

You're not in the habit of looking once you've found things are you Wayne?

I always find things I'm not looking for while looking for something else. My advise would be stop looking for your seeds and start looking for your garden twine and dibber.

While you are at it can you keep an eye out for my marbles, I can't find them anywhere.

do you have a 'man drawer', you know the one where you keep all the bits and bobs men like to keep. If you watch Michael McIntyre you will know what I mean.

Like Alison, there's not a hope of losing mine these days, they just about take over the porch in various boxes and baskets
I did lose them the year I broke me ankle though, and Grapey-vibes ensured they were found Can't remember where they were in the end though.

I think your shed or garage are likely candidates Wayne x

Try looking under your car seats...if all else fails you may find a fluffy toffee you can suck

I have a man room - it's actually the "study" but it tends to be the dumping ground as it's a room that can be shut away.

                    No garage... ;-(

No marbles yet Mikey - will tiddlywinks do ya for now?

I really have no idea where they can be...

Wish I could help, Wayne, but if you find my protocols folder that I lost in my house move (while you're searching for your seeds), let me know. Tis bloomin' frustrating, innit?? 12 years or research - all hiding away from me!

Do you have a greenhouse, or a stash of larger pots?

                      Or an outside loo???

You lucky thing OH has taken over the study, its now called the sewing room.

TIddlywinks.....mmm nah my fingers are too fat to roll them over I need a big heavy coin. The big chocolate ones work well, but don't tend to last very long.

Have you tried thinking of the last time you put seeds in it, or looked through it to jog your memory? What about under something if it was on the floor and got pushed aside, eg bed, tv stand, tht sort of thing?

Can't think why you would want to but have you left them at someone else's house or taken them to work for a day out?.........Wherever they turn up, you are right Wayne, they'll be in the last place you look.

the surest way of finding lost things, is to go out and buy replacements. Then they will turn up.
