Aberdeenplotter's initial post was talking about somebody being sent a bullet in the post. It wasn't talking about whether racial abuse had or had not occurred, or the rights or wrongs of the alleged racial abuse. So when somebody uses that as a springboard to repeat the same arguments that have been repeated on every thread that mentions racist abuse for the last few years, it gets a bit tiresome. Particularly when said post is started with 'I don't know what this is about'. In that case, it isn't even part of the discussion, or relevant to the discussion. So when I say 'change the record', I'm saying it as a member of this forum for nearly 6 years, who's tired of reading the same thing over and over, not as a Mod who is about to close the thread because I don't agree with the views.
When we close threads, it's because the views being posted have either been complained about via the report post button by a number of other people, or where we think breaches of law/privacy/decency have occurred.
And if you have a problem with something a mod has done, like closing a thread, there is a PM system, use that.
