If it was poor parenting skills you wouldn't have a well behaved daughter! It just MIGHT be skills which were right for her, and not right for him, but even that seems unlikely.

We love you with either head on, just hate seeing you so down when we can't do anything positive to help you.
lol - I do so LOVE you lot. As mad as you all are - you keep ME sane
Right in plain and simple terms here was my day;
5am - Mr D inadvertantly woke me up so I decided to get an earlier and head start on the day (yeah right like THAT made any difference as you will see below! ) and had a bath etc
6:30 - started to rouse kids
7am - all ok so far breakfast etc
8:30am Bluebelle picked up - we drove to school cos BB decided to run around rather than get dressed. Kept calm and dropped him off without further incident.
10am Got phone call from school asking me to go down as he was having to be restrained. Put girls in car, drive 5 mins, park, lock girls into car and go in to see whats wrong.
He had been biting some of the kids feet (through shoes) for some reason, then didnt like being manouvered out from under the table and threw a hissy fit. I could hear him screaming from the playground. He calmed down a little whilst I was there and the head said I could go after about 1/2 hour of trying to talk to him and him not responding.
11am Got in, made coffee, checked in here, attempted washing up
11:30am Babysitter (for whilst I went docs) arrived just as phone rang to say he had kicked off again
11:40am Arrived at school to find that he was creating chaos in classroom, all the kids had been evacuated for their safety in case he became agressive towards them. Took him straight out and off to Docs
11:50 Arrived at docs and had to wait 3/4 hour to be seen
12:35 Finaly called to see doctor. She asked all the questions, took notes and checked his heart etc. Said she would refer him. I asked if she was not doing any other physical tests for example his hearing had been suggested along with diabetes (no - as I thought) and thyroid (which she agreed with) so she said she would do some blood tests and THEN refer him. I then said I didnt really want to delay the referal for some blood tests but she said they must be done before they would accept him????
12:55 - Home - tried to ring school to report back and ask if I was to bring him back to school or if he was excluded again - phone just ringing. Girls were already overdue to go up for nap but just had to jolly them along as had no idea if I had to go out again or not.
13:25 - Finaly got through and was told he could go as long as he was going to be good - christ if I could guarantee that!!!!..... Decided to ring and ask neighbour if she could sit girls whilst I tried to settle him. She agreed so I put girls up for their sleep and left for the school - again!
13:40 - Went into library with head to ensure BB knew how he was being expected to behave. It finaly seemed to sink in, he lost the angry frown and he went back to his class with a smile on his face.
14:00 - Finaly got home and then spent half an hour answering concerned "how did it go" phone calls from Mr D and various rellies.
14:40 - Finaly got to eat some lunch
14:50 - Spent 10 minutes fighting to get girls coats on (they really didnt want to wake up and I gave up in the end) and got to school just on time.
15:05 - He came out and had an excellant afternoon (well hour or so anyhow) by all accounts.
15:15 - Collected daughter - finaly got home to start tea etc at 15:30
Phew so there was my day and (sorry to be a poet) now I'm grey!

The doc sounds a bit vague but I think all GPs can do is refer you on really. Did she say who the referral would be to?
Well done for today. Small steps perhaps but it's all progress x
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
Don't worry about the house .....it'll still be there tomorrow . Important things are you and your family . Positive thoughts that things get sorted ......xx
S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig a batch of jam is always an act of creation ..Christine Ferber
Tammy, I don't know how you do it - I'm knackered just reading about your day! You have my deepest admiration hun!!
I can't see why the referral has to wait for the result of bloods - hadn't the doc already agreed to refer you before you asked about blood tests? I would be wanting to get ahead on the appointment list and by the time the bloods were done/results arrived you'd have your appointment with the specialist. You have to wonder about some of these medics!
Fingers crossed it all happens quickly, so that neither you nor BB have to wait much longer for some help. Can't be easy for you and BB to understand what's happening in your lives just now.
Nah, if it turns out you found something wrong that could've been seen from the bloods, you be kicking yourself if you hadn't had them done at the soonest opportunity. Try every avenue you can!
