I cannot believe how much time has flown by. I was quite ill a couple of weeks ago and am just waiting for medication to prevent migraneous vertigo attacts.

However its all really quite good news. Since BB was seperated from the bully he has settled right down. Ok he still trys his luck but what child doesnt! The bullies mother is still taunting me and it has started to get me down. Am in a good place right now though and I can just ignore it. It was the schools Easter celebration service today and she was heard bemoaning the fact last night. Lo and behold today neither her or her kids were to be seen so can only assume she kept them off rather than go church which is a bit silly seeing as they are both church schools!

After Easter BB is going to a group once a week for 5 weeks with other children. We have told him its a friendship group to meet new friends and learn new games but it so he can be assesed on how he interacts etc.

Must go - got a migrane coming on - AHAIN - grrrr. Much love

Good news that BB is settling down a bit. He'll love his new group, I'm sure.
Ignore the "bully" family they are idiots, they dont like it when people stand up to them.

Now we just have to get you sorted with migraines.

        Take care

Regardless of the circumstances, no decent adult would resort to taunting. You totally have the moral high ground. Good to hear BB is continuing to progress. I do hope your health improves soon x

Hope you get some medication that works for those migraines Tammy and thanks for the update. It's good to know he's making progress. One step at a time and you'll all get to where you need to be. Oh and remember that bullies are cowards and keep your chin up xxx

Good to hear from you Tammy - I was getting quite worried.
I suffer from Migraines - in one month I had 15 days worth of pain grrrrr pants really, though they have got less frequent of late (she says in hushed tones)
It's also good to hear progress is being made with the BB
              Have a good weekend Tammy,
              much love HF xx

Glad to hear you are OK. Could it be stress causing the migranes? Have you tries Migralieve? I found they used to work for me. Hope they get better soon.

Glad to read that he's settled down, Tammy. Interesting that the excuse of a mother is using playground tactics to hide her own failings...oh the irony! It's actually very sad - in a way she has failed her own child by not correcting his behaviour and is stacking up a load of trouble for the future.

I think you're a star for perseverance and I hope you can continue to rise above the bully's mother. I imagine all the other mums can see things as they truly are and are talking about *her* behind her back! Sounds like she's not the teachers' favourite, either...

Fingers crossed things continue on the right track.

For the migraines, I would recommend growing some lemon balm and making a strong tea with the leaves. It is fantastic for tension headaches and also acts as a sedative, so will help you sleep when stressed. Take care, hun, I think you're a star mum! x

                    • Hey all

Its over two months since I updated you so here goes....

BB has had his course of "friendship groups" which were to assess how he interacts with other kids, I have yet to hear the results. Cant recall if it was mentioned about him still not being dry at night and we went to a urology clinic and they were most helpful, although progress is slow, mainly due to me being so busy - must try harder! Its mainly; drink more during day, listen to bodys signals during day so body know what signals to listen for in the night, wee sitting down for last wee -count to 10 then try again just to be sure and of course stoping drinks 1 1/2 hour before bed. On a rather sad and a little worrying note we have just been told that his wonderful teacher is leaving at the end of this school year. I got rather panicy and teary last night but must remain positive and have faith that his next teacher will be just as empathetic with him.

Lots of love to you all

                          • Glad to hear that BB is settling down. It's amazing how often a 'problem child' is found to be being bullied!
Hope the migraines improve soon, so hard to do things with pain let alone vertigo.

Ask for Imigran - you're having what I'm having and like Headfry says, they intensify/multiply. Time of life I'm afraid and with your thyroid decline it goes hand in hand.
