Well much as I scoffed at the 'tinned tomatoes' scare this is one I have to agree with
especially the 'makes you short tempered and irate' bit
SWMBO has 3 yes 3 sugars in her tea and she does short tempered and irate to perfection.

I'm trying really hard to do this too. Cut out processed sugars that is. It's bloody hard I tell you, 'specially when the rest of the family aren't that interested in doing itI seem to have developed a bit of an addiction to apples instead, not sure if that's a bad thing or not

I don't take sugar in anything now, but on the flip side of the coin I'm disgusting in terms of if I see a packet of biscuits I'll eat the lot, in one go. That's my next thing to sort out!

This is another book to read, if you're interested: Sugar Blues and there's Sugar Nation.
We should be eating sugar in its natural forms, like honey and fruit, but it shouldn't be added (in large quantities) to our bread and suchlike. 9 tsp in a Coke, up to 6 tsp in a yogurt.
Cambridge Uni researchers found that the obese people they tested were eating up to 52 tsps of sugar a day.
If you're still reading, and haven't gone off to get a cuppa with three, this is interesting: Would you give your child cocaine?
