There's a Strange Man in My House

Whilst shaving this morning, the BH made a mess of his beard by slicing a chunk out of it. So he shaved the whole beard off. He's had this beard for about 20 years and I don't recognise the face underneath it. I keep staring at him, he's getting freaked out.

It's just totally weird....this person sounds like him, it's the right shape and height....but it's just not him. I have a stranger in my house and worse, in my bed later.......too weird!

mr LD grew one several years ago,ugggg,he was persuaded to shave it off,and has never attempted one since,thank goodness,it was sooo itchy/prickly to be near,and after a treacle sarny,eeeeuuuukkk,can you get a false one untill you get used to it gone,as for tonight,you could always pretend you got a new date lol,his face will be sooo soft,get him his own moisturiser,

Thing about a new man is......I've only ever had him, apart from a few boyfriends when I was a young teenager. We've been married since I was 17. Only other guy who's seen me nekid was a doctor. Oddly, I've been staring at him all day until he looks up and catches my eye. Then - get this - I find myself blushing (at my age!!) and looking away.

I've often wished he'd shave it off and now he has I can't wait until it grows back in a few days!

LOLOL that is soooo funny! Personally I hate face fungus, but that's just me. Some of the nicest blokes I've met have had beards...

My hubby has an embarrassing story about the time he didn't recognise his own Dad; When he was little, he opened the front door when he heard the doorbell. He stared at the visitors, then ran in to the Kitchen and said;
"Mum, there's Uncle Fred, and a strange man, outside."

The 'strange man' was his Dad, who had been away for the week, staying with his brother, and had forgotten to take his razor, so had decided to grow a beard. He couldn't have borrowed his brother's razor, as he didn't have one, as he had a beard anyway! His Dad still reminds him of this periodically.

My ex used to grow a beard every now and then. It usually heralded him going off the rails and hitting the bottle.
Mr Teez had a beard before I knew him. He bore a remarkable and alarming resemblance to Barry Gibb! Whenever we have old photos out and I see one of him with it, I always say, "We would NEVER have happened...."

He has a beard of sorts still - where the skin under the beard hasn't been shaved in so long it's gone very red. And he does look years younger, but the neatly trimmed goatee gave him an elegant look as he's a distinguished shade of badger all over.

G4; Years ago, before I was born, my father was posted to Kenya for 2 years unaccompanied. Whilst he was away my mother, brother & sister stayed with my grandparents in Invershin. My father, a very dark-skinned chap at the best of times, was tanned a deep shade of David Dickinson when he arrived home unexpectedly, and with a moustache, a month early. He crept up behind my Granny, squeezed her waist and said 'Hello Mam' . Granny screamed the place down and set about him with the wooden washing tongs thinking she'd just been assaulted by one of the Pakistani brush salesmen who visited the area regularly!
