There's a Strange Man in My House

My OH has a beard- and I really love it. He grew it when we first went out together at the age of 17.
About 8 years ago he went on a ski holiday with our son and shaved on the first day - supposedly giving it chance to grow back a bit before he got back.
I too was shocked when I saw him- and felt VERY awkward in his company...weird ain't it Jules?????????

Nicos, unbelievably weird. My head is telling me that this is the man I have been married to for 28 years but my eyes are saying 'No way....it's not him. We don't know this guy'

The BH, by the way, thinks this is all very funny, making me blush and all. So now the strange guy is laughing at me too.

So, last night when The Stranger was asleep, I spent a while studying his face. To my utter disgust the man has no wrinkles at all and he's 50 this year. I felt very odd because, laying there next to me, was the boy I met way back in 1981. I don't think I look too bad for my age, but even still, it felt very weird to be in bed with such a youngster. It was like the clock has gone back for him, but not for me. Pity it's just turned back time on his face and not the whole body........
