You could go outside and shout BOGOF, just in case a scrappie comes along. Seems to be quick turnaround where you are. Even if one doesn't you'll probably feel a lot better for trying.Comment

So I just need to trundle the fridge freezer round from the back alleyway (dumped by a builder about 8 years ago) to the side alleyway in front of the alley gates - and you think it will all disappear? Maybe a plan when the weather improves.

There is a story going round (I'm sure it's been on here somewhere) of someone who put a perfectly good sofa outside with "free to good home" notice. Stayed there several days.
Notice changed to "for sale £10" vanished within a couple of hours!Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment

Yep Zaz it is an electric slot- in oven but you wouldn't want it, it doesn't work that well - temperature variable, the markings have worn off the dials and the seal is falling off.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?Comment

Zaz, have you tried asking for one on Freecycle? I often see cookers offered so you could strike lucky. As you say, if you don't ask.....
I'm always surprised at the folk who ask for a car, must be taxed and MOTd - there's one requested here now!Comment
